Job Overview
A-Star Vanda Investment and Trading Co. Ltd. is recruiting five (5) Sales Representatives to support its growing business operations in Nigeria.
The company is part of a group of businesses specializing in the production and distribution of stationery products, including pencils, pens, markers, cellotapes, craft tools, and other African-focused products.
The successful candidates will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products, identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and driving sales within their assigned territories.
This opportunity is suitable for motivated individuals with sales experience, particularly those familiar with retail markets, wholesale businesses, distributors, and customer-facing sales environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit markets, retail outlets, wholesale businesses, and other potential customers to promote and sell company products.
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Present company products to prospective customers, highlighting their features, benefits, and pricing.
- Generate sales orders and work towards achieving assigned sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Follow up with customers to encourage repeat purchases and establish long-term business relationships.
- Monitor competitors’ products, pricing strategies, and activities within assigned markets.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, market opportunities, and challenges.
- Identify potential markets and recommend strategies for increasing product sales and market penetration.
Requirements and Qualifications
Interested candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum educational qualification of SSCE/WAEC or its equivalent.
- Previous experience in sales, field marketing, retail sales, wholesale sales, or a related customer-facing role is required.
- Experience selling to traders, retailers, wholesalers, or distributors will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to identify prospective customers, generate sales, and build lasting business relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a field-based sales environment.
- Willingness to travel within assigned markets and work towards achieving sales targets.
Salary and Benefits
