Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Radiographer to provide safe, accurate, and timely diagnostic imaging services within our corporate healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiographic and ultrasound examinations, maintaining radiation safety standards, supporting emergency diagnostic services, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency radiographic examinations.
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provide accurate imaging support.
- Operate CT Scan and MRI equipment effectively to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure compliance with radiation protection regulations and ALARA principles.
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment through routine quality assurance procedures.
- Support theatre-based and emergency diagnostic services when required.
- Maintain accurate patient imaging records and reports.
- Participate in clinical audits, performance monitoring, and quality improvement activities.
- Promote patient safety, confidentiality, and professional standards in all imaging services.
Requirements
- Education & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Radiography from a recognized institution. - Current registration and valid practicing licence with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) Certification.
NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a recognized hospital environment.
- Previous experience in an Oil & Gas-affiliated hospital will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in diagnostic ultrasound (sonography).
- Strong practical knowledge of CT Scan and MRI imaging.
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Imaging will be an advantage.
