Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Capital Officer to support the organization’s human resource operations. The successful candidate will assist in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training coordination, HR administration, and compliance activities while contributing to the achievement of organizational goals through effective people management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and induction.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR databases.
  • Assist in the implementation and administration of performance management and employee appraisal processes.
  • Handle employee relations matters and support the resolution of workplace concerns in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Assist with payroll input validation, attendance reconciliation, and HR reporting activities.
  • Support the implementation, communication, and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare HR documentation, including employment letters, confirmations, disciplinary letters, and other personnel-related correspondence.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Good understanding of HR principles and employment regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Candidate’s Profile

  • Male candidate preferred.
  • Resident within or around Amuwo Odofin, Festac, Ijesha, Mile 2, Oshodi, Apapa, or nearby areas will have an added advantage
