Job Summary

We are seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused Bank Tellers to join our branch operations team. The successful candidates will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately, maintaining cash balances, ensuring compliance with banking procedures, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking transactions.
  • Verify customer identities, account information, and transaction details.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily teller activities and transactions.
  • Balance cash drawers and ensure cash handling procedures are strictly followed.
  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries and resolve basic banking concerns.
  • Promote a positive customer experience through efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, banking regulations, and operational policies.
  • Report discrepancies, suspicious transactions, and operational issues promptly.
  • Support branch operations and other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

Education

  • OND, NCE, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

Skills & Competencies

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous banking, cashier, teller, retail finance, or cash-handling experience will be an added advantage.
