In this role, the Accountant will be responsible for analysing operating expenditure (OPEX), preparing financial reports, monitoring budget performance and providing financial insights to support management decisions. Key Responsibilities

The Accountant – Finance Services and Control Technology will perform the following duties:

• Prepare and analyse Network Group operating expenditure budgets, financial forecasts and budget variance reports, highlighting findings and recommending appropriate actions.
• Develop and update financial dashboards, key performance indicator (KPI) reports and management presentations to support business performance monitoring.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and business planning to ensure that financial targets align with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports on tower lease costs, including lease escalations, tenancy-related changes and projected expenditure.
• Consolidate and review financial performance reports, identifying major cost drivers and assessing the assumptions underlying financial forecasts.
• Monitor financial risks, identify potential savings and support cost optimisation initiatives across Network operations.
• Work with Network, TowerCo, Procurement and Information Systems teams to improve financial reporting, data accuracy and integration.
• Carry out financial modelling, scenario analysis and other business analytics to support operational planning and strategic decision-making.
• Provide relevant financial analysis and reports to management to facilitate informed business decisions.
• Monitor financial transactions and reconcile accounts within the assigned division to support effective financial control.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A recognised professional accounting qualification, such as ACA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA.
