Key Responsibilities

Based on the duties outlined in the vacancy announcement, the Night Duty Manager will be expected to:

1. Coordinate hotel operations during assigned night shifts.
2. Supervise staff and monitor their performance.
3. Maintain hotel service standards and operational procedures.
4. Monitor operational reports and ensure proper documentation.
5. Manage guest relations and address customer concerns.
6. Resolve operational problems and make appropriate decisions.
7. Coordinate activities across hotel departments.
8. Escalate operational issues to the appropriate management personnel.
9. Promote staff discipline and ensure compliance with workplace procedures.

Requirements

Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:

1. HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. OND holders with substantial relevant experience may also be considered.
3. Three to five years of experience in hotel operations.
4. Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
5. Knowledge of operational reports and hotel service standards.
6. Ability to coordinate daily hotel operations and supervise staff.
7. Strong guest relations and problem solving skills.
8. Good decision making and staff coordination abilities.
9. Ability to coordinate departments and escalate operational issues appropriately.
