Job Overview

Transgreen Nigeria Limited is seeking a competent and hands-on Electrical Utility Officer to support the smooth and efficient operation of its manufacturing facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and utility systems, ensuring equipment operates reliably and supporting uninterrupted production activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain electrical utility systems and equipment within the facility.
  • Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate corrective maintenance when required.
  • Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, air compressors, generators, and other utility equipment.
  • Ensure electrical and utility equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Identify potential equipment failures and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, faults, repairs, and equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and workplace regulations.
  • Support production and engineering teams in resolving utility-related issues.
  • Assist with energy efficiency and utility improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in electrical maintenance, utilities, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, air compressors, and electrical systems is highly preferred.
  • Good knowledge of electrical installations, power distribution, and industrial utility systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment faults.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
