Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance / Facility Officer to oversee the maintenance and efficient operation of production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment and possess strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, air compressors, and other industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and production equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, air compressors, and related mechanical/electrical equipment.
- Ensure all machinery operates efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Monitor facility utilities and coordinate routine maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers when required.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and facility-related issues.
Requirements
- HND/B.Sc. or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Officer, Facility Officer, or similar role.
- Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing company is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, air compressors, generators, pumps, and other industrial equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Candidates residing in Ijesha, Festac, Mile 2, Isolo, Oshodi, Surulere, Yaba, and Coconut (Apapa axis) are strongly preferred.
