Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance / Facility Officer to oversee the maintenance and efficient operation of production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment and possess strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, air compressors, and other industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and production equipment.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, air compressors, and related mechanical/electrical equipment.
  • Ensure all machinery operates efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor facility utilities and coordinate routine maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Liaise with external contractors and service providers when required.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and facility-related issues.

Requirements

  • HND/B.Sc. or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Officer, Facility Officer, or similar role.
  • Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing company is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, air compressors, generators, pumps, and other industrial equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Candidates residing in Ijesha, Festac, Mile 2, Isolo, Oshodi, Surulere, Yaba, and Coconut (Apapa axis) are strongly preferred.
